Sweet pancakes — a popular pick with halal-observant guests

Our full sweet pancake side — classic, fruit, syrup, chocolate and ice cream variations — is also a favourite choice for halal-observant guests. No pork, no alcohol-based ingredients. Just generous, hospitable pancakes that started this whole thing.

Look out for the showstoppers: The Blue Magic Deluxe, The Ice Ice Baby and The Golddigger — all three feature our saffron pistachio ice cream, a secret recipe we make ourselves.

• Sourdough toasts from Louf bakery in Amsterdam — baked fresh, on every toast plate
• Saffron pistachio ice cream — our own secret recipe, on the Blue Magic Deluxe, Ice Ice Baby and Golddigger
• 100% sugar-free stacked buttermilk pancakes (the sweetness is from the syrup, the fruit, and the toppings — not the batter)
